Alex Nebesar, CFA, Senior Associate

Mr. Nebesar’s experience includes building financial models and writing accompanying reports to assist financial and economic consultants, business and asset valuation expert witnesses, forensic accountants, and start-up ventures. Mr. Nebesar has conducted business and intangible asset valuation for financial statement reporting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, legal matters, and tax planning purposes. Significant engagements Mr. Nebesar has consulted on include developing pro-forma financial statements for long-term business forecasting to determine business enterprise value for angel and venture capital round financings for a new venture in the retail automotive industry; determination of purchase price of fables IP target, as well as valuation of acquired assets for financial reporting purposes; and fresh start accounting valuation for a major airline company.

Prior to consulting independently, Mr. Nebesar was an Investment Analyst with Greycourt & Co., in Portland Oregon, where he implemented asset allocation strategies for high net worth individuals and institutions. Before joining Greycourt Mr. Nebesar was an Associate with Huron Consulting Group's Valuation Advisory and Consulting Practice in San Francisco. At Huron he was part of a team that performed valuations of public and privately held businesses and assets to assist them with financial reporting, merger and acquisition analysis, purchase price assessments, and corporate recovery and restructuring efforts. Prior to his experience with Huron Mr. Nebesar was an Analyst with JPMorgan, where he was a member of an Institutional and Wrap Manager of Managers program.

Mr. Nebesar graduated from The University of Puget Sound with a BS in Mathematics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
